About

Working in a major New York city recording studio for 5 years I learned the techniques and tricks of the trade that for many years were only possible in a $400 an hour recording facilty over large amounts of time. Music was recorded to expensive 2″ tapes and edited with razor blades and wax pencils. A 2″ reel could playback 23 tracks and record at most 3 songs and would cost about $300. With the current technology the same 3 songs can be stored on a DVD that costs less then $1.00 and each song can contain as many tracks as needed. This eliminated the wall between cost and creativity. While the technology has come with in  reach of most any individual the experience that is needed to use these tools to create a competitive product is rare. Affordable technology has created a generation with no experience in music or recording. A talented producer, composer and engineer with a background in classical music and jazz combined with years of major studio experience is rare. Talent and experience can only be measured by the results they provide. Music I have produced, written and engineered has been used some of the biggest shows in television including a top day time talk show and Saturday Night Live as well as television networks like CBS, NBC, MTV, MTV2.
